- Developed, implemented and managed loss prevention and loss reduction strategies for the Workers’ Compensation,
Auto Liability and General Liability risks from the creation of the company in 1995 with an annual revenue of $1.7
Billion and 18,000 employees to present day $4.1 Billion with 27,000 employees. Losses have remained flat in the
presence of this significant growth. Insurance modification rate decreased from 1.5 to .66.
- Developed a workers’ compensation fraud strategy that resulted in 5 convictions of workers’ compensation fraud in 2007
and 2008.
- Developed a forensic ergonomic evaluation for the assessment and defense of musculoskeletal disorders that resulted in
a 50% decrease in musculoskeletal claims and a 60% decrease in cost associated with these claims. Calculated ROI of $5
Million over 24 months.
- Directed development of Fitness for Duty policy and nationwide assessment panel.
- Provided consultation and direction on occupational health, wellness initiatives and medical benefit program structure.
- Participated on Merger’s and Acquisition team. Conducted merger and acquisition due diligence for all lines of coverage.
Facilitated placement of new coverages.
- Sponsored the first lean initiative (5S) within the company that has at present resulted in $143,000 cost savings for this
pilot facility.
- Assisted divisional senior management with development and implementation of loss prevention plans and loss
reduction strategies.
- Developed a performance guarantee tool for use with the Third Party Claim Administrator.
- Provided national claim and medical management oversight for workers’ compensation, auto and general liability lines of
coverage including Life Care Plans and Medicare Set Asides.
